Dublin show opens in Paris 15 May – and at home for ATypI conference
To celebrate ATypI’s 2010 conference in Dublin, the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris is hosting an exhibition of graphic design, installations and audiovisual pieces by the students of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the School of Art, Design and Printing at the Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland.

Including a specially commissioned piece by the French artist M. A. Thebault this exhibition will explore ogham and runic alphabets and the history and heritage of type in the Irish character from fresh and exciting angles in the historic building that housed the Irish College in Paris, a major centre of Gaelic cultural production, for 170 years.
This exhibition will also run in Dublin Castle during the ATypI conference this year. The Paris exhibition will run from May 12-23 with a special nocturnal opening on May 15 for the European Night of Museums.Back to news
