A little story: the type behind Los Andes

Tuesday 27 October, 16:20 (20 minutes)

Mr. Felipe Cáceres, Typographer & Type designer, Unión de los Tipógrafos

A short tour through the history of typography in Chile, from the first letter maker of the beginning of print, until the last events in our country like the last biennial «Tipos Latinos», the first chilean foundry and the latest type projects. It is intended to highlight the work of formers Victorino Laínez, Alejandro Fauré and Mauricio Amster, and how the beginning of the digital type era causes a type-phenomenon in Chile.
