Catherine Griffiths will present a journey through the influences and explorations that have led her to make typography in the New Zealand landscape. She will show two projects - the Wellington Writers Walk - a series of 15 large-scale concrete text sculptures, positioned unexpectedly around the city's urban waterfront, celebrating New Zealand poets and writers - such contemporary poet, Bill Manhire's "I live at the edge of the universe like everybody else"; and an architecture collaboration, 'Ponatahi' - a house wrapped in literature.
