Jost Hochuli will be conducting a round-table discussion and book presentation on Gutenberg-Galaxie Nr. 1, published by Günter Karl Bose and Julia Blume and designed by Andrea Bernscherer and Stephanie Marx (both students at the Hochschule).

Thursday 21 September
Registration and welcome reception from 17.00 followed by an informal evening with live jazz (till late) in the Moritzbastei, a 16th century fortress in the city centre.

Two pre-bookable pre-conference options throughout the day:
Independent Font Technology Forum and Collotype Printing Workshop

Friday 22 September
Two lecture tracks throughout the day plus a variety of discussions, workshops and practical demonstrations.

Evening: TDC Medal Presentation to Gunther Gerhard Lange followed by the ATypI Auction

Saturday 23 September
Two lecture tracks throughout the day plus a variety of discussions, workshops and practical demonstrations.

Gala evening at the Auerbachs Keller, immortalised in Goethe's Faust.

Sunday 24 September
Lectures, discussions, workshops and practical demonstrations all morning followed by the ATypI Annual General Assembly.

The conference will finish around 15.00 leaving the afternoon and evening free.
